Maths In Focus for JSS 1

This workbook for Junior Secondary Schools 1 is written based on the contents of the textbook (Mathematics in Focus for JSS1).

All the questions in the workbook are meant to test the knowledge of the students on what they had leant in Mathematics in Focus for JSS1 textbook.

The workbook serves an assignment notebook so the students are expected to provide solutions directly in it. This is the reason why enough spaces are provided for solutions. Apart from the theory questions, objective questions are also given on some of the topics.

A good performance in the workbook by the students will give them confidence when examination is approaching.

The author felt the need for a workbook of this nature for the students to be able to practice even outside the textbook.

Use of only the workbook (without the textbook) is not encouraging so I’ll advice that students get both the textbook and the workbook for proper understanding of the subject.
