Civic Education for Pry. Schools Book 5

Civic Education for Primary Schools has Series of Book 1 – 6, structured in line with the new approved curriculum guideline by Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) for Basic 1 – 6.

Book 1 – 3 have been written to meet with the requirements of the curriculum for Lower Basic Education, while Book 4 – 6 focuses on the requirements of the curriculum for Middle Basic Education.

The series focus on the development of Nigerian children into effective and responsible citizens who are able to contribute positively to the development of their society. Pupils will find these books useful as it helps to understand good values in the society and appreciate their duties and rights as citizens.

Each book in the series is designed using simple language, combined with high colourful and descriptive illustrations.

The content of the book is organised in modules. Each module consists of units, illustrations and exercises to evaluate pupils. Lessons learnt from these books will go a long way in imparting life-lasting values and knowledge that will help them to be responsible for themselves and the society at large.
